The Lake District is one of those places I never seem to tire of. From peaceful waters to dramatic mountain landscapes, explore a collection of photographs captured across the Lakes and brought to life as fine art prints.

“Here is a collection of photographs taken across the Lake District, UK. For me, the Lakes is a special place, and one that I keep returning to time and time again. There is something about the freedom, the quiet and the sheer scale of the landscape that keeps drawing me back.

It is easy to understand why the Lake District has inspired photographers, artists and writers for generations. The landscape itself has been shaped by thousands of years of farming, industry and the forces of nature. Today, it is both England’s largest National Park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognised for the relationship between its mountains, lakes, valleys, farms and communities.

There are 16 main bodies of water across the National Park, from the familiar waters of Windermere and Ullswater to quieter corners such as Buttermere and Loweswater. Beyond the lakes are more than 350 fells, including Scafell Pike, and I currently find myself walking Alfred Wainwrights 214 documented summits.

This collection of Lake District photography is my way of capturing some of those places and moments that make the area so special. These are photographs made to bring a little of that feeling home with you — whether you have a favourite corner of Cumbria already or simply want a reminder of the mountains, water and open landscape.”
