The Lake District is one of those places I never seem to tire of. From peaceful waters to dramatic mountain landscapes, explore a collection of photographs captured across the Lakes and brought to life as fine art prints.
“Here is a collection of photographs taken across the Lake District, UK. For me, the Lakes is a special place, and one that I keep returning to time and time again. There is something about the freedom, the quiet and the sheer scale of the landscape that keeps drawing me back.
It is easy to understand why the Lake District has inspired photographers, artists and writers for generations. The landscape itself has been shaped by thousands of years of farming, industry and the forces of nature. Today, it is both England’s largest National Park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognised for the relationship between its mountains, lakes, valleys, farms and communities.
There are 16 main bodies of water across the National Park, from the familiar waters of Windermere and Ullswater to quieter corners such as Buttermere and Loweswater. Beyond the lakes are more than 350 fells, including Scafell Pike, and I currently find myself walking Alfred Wainwrights 214 documented summits.
This collection of Lake District photography is my way of capturing some of those places and moments that make the area so special. These are photographs made to bring a little of that feeling home with you — whether you have a favourite corner of Cumbria already or simply want a reminder of the mountains, water and open landscape.”
Bring the atmosphere of the Lake District fells into your home with this fine art landscape print captured between Wrynose Pass and Hardknott Pass. Morning cloud spills through the valley below, rolling softly over the rugged mountain terrain and transforming the scene into a calm, atmospheric moment.
Photographed from the opposing ridge, this image captures the fleeting movement of low cloud as it drifts across the high passes, softening the dramatic contours of the landscape. The result is a moody and contemplative view of one of the Lake District’s most dramatic locations.
Perfect as Lake District wall art, this mountain landscape print brings a sense of space, weather, and quiet drama to any interior.
This fine art print features a photograph captured by Luke Dokic in The UK’s Lake District.
Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm, this print is available in A3 & A4 sizes. The image measures approximately 365 x 257mm on A3, presented with a surrounding border.
All Lunai prints are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Each certificate is wax stamped, and individually numbered with a unique serial number corresponding to the reverse of the print. COA Hand-signing applies only to limited edition prints.
