Our Journey Through the Lens: Photography, Travel, and Life Together

We’re Annie and Luke, a couple who discovered early on that the world looks different when shared. Traveling together, cameras in hand, has become more than a hobby, it’s our way of exploring, observing, and connecting with the places we visit. Each trip is a chance to capture fleeting moments, whether it’s a misty mountain trail, a golden sunset over a lake, or a quiet street corner buzzing with local life. Photography gives us a lens not just on the world, but on our shared experiences, adventures, and discoveries.

While Luke tends to frame the grandeur of landscapes, Annie often notices the small, intimate details that can make an image unforgettable. Together, we balance perspective with nuance, capturing both the scale and the soul of a location. Adventures Across Vietnam

Some of our most memorable journeys have taken us through northern Vietnam. The winding roads of the Hải Vân Pass, made famous by Top Gear’s Vietnam Special, offered the thrill of motorbike travel through misty mountains and sweeping ocean vistas. Hanoi offered a very different story. Walking along serene lakes, we encountered the rusted remnants of a B-52 bomber, a stark reminder of the city’s turbulent history. Just a short stroll away, life went on vibrantly - locals sipping beers on tiny stools, children playing near bustling streets, and vendors calling out at morning markets. Our overnight journey to Sapa was equally unforgettable. After an overnight train to Lao Cai, we climbed into the mountains, navigating rain-slicked roads and mist-shrouded rice terraces. Moments of Calm in Europe

Not every journey is high-adrenaline. Some of our favorite memories come from slower, quieter explorations. Lake Garda in Italy, for example, offered a combination of tranquil waters, sunlit vineyards, and cliffside streets dotted with cafés. Days spiraled in a gentle rhythm, from early morning light over the lake to evenings spent with Aperol spritzes, watching the sun dip behind distant mountains. How We Work Together

Traveling and photographing as a couple requires collaboration and balance. We’ve learned to navigate creative differences, give each other space, and combine our strengths. Luke often focuses on sweeping landscapes and dramatic compositions, while Annie excels at noticing intimate details and candid moments. Our playful debates about cameras or lenses only drive our creativity further.

We experiment constantly, from trying new lenses and filters to chasing golden hour light or attempting long-exposure shots. Our goal is to make each image reflect not just the scene itself, but the experience of being there - its atmosphere, emotion, and story.

Turning Our Photography Into Fine Art

We’ve started offering some of our favorite photographs as fine art prints. Each image is carefully produced with pigment inks and premium paper to preserve color, detail, and texture. From open editions to limited runs, we select materials that honor the memory of the moment captured.
